Leading Employers Are Offering Workplace Electric Vehicle Charging, According to Energy.gov

 

As reported on Energy.gov, access to Plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) charging stations at workplaces has nearly doubled from 2012 to 2014.

 

Employers are realizing the benefits of installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, such as demonstrating innovation, environmental stewardship as well as attracting and retaining talent.

 

Leading employers, including Telefonix, manufacturer of PowerPost Level 1 and Level 2 charging stations have partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy through the EV Everywhere Workplace Charging Challenge.

 

90% of the partners in this program have reported that their workplace EV charging units are fully utilized 5 days a week.
