How to Utilize ComEd's Electric Car Rebate with Federal Tax Incentives to Receive the Cheapest Electric Car on the Market

ComEd, the largest utility company in Illinois, and participating Nissan North America dealerships are offering a special rebate to customers on the purchase of a new 2017 Nissan Leaf electric car. All you have to do is simply show this flyer with a copy of your ComEd bill to receive $10,000 rebate off MSRP. Seriously, it is that simple! Get to your Nissan Dealership before this offer expires 9/30/2017 or you might be regretting it.

Some of these ComEd customers can also qualify for federal tax incentives, Internal Revenue Code section 30D, which is a Federal tax code that provides incentives up to $7,500 for qualified plug-in electric vehicles. Don’t some people have all the luck…

When utilizing the ComEd rebate with the Federal tax incentive program, the buyer could get over 50% off a brand new 2017 Nissan Leaf. That is up to $17,500 off of the Nissan Leaf’s initial MSRP of $30,650. If you are an Illinois resident wanting to convert to an Electric Vehicle, you might just want to take advantage of this ComEd/Nissan rebate program.

If you are not lucky enough to be a ComEd customer (like our PowerPost Team located in the Chicagoland area), email your utility company and ask if they offer or plan to offer a similar deal. You might be surprised at how utility companies are helping with Electric Vehicle adoption all over the country.
